According to our textbook, Psychology in Action, stress is defined as a nonspecific response of the body to any demand do on it. Our body is always experiencing just about type of stress, whether it is an eustress or a distress. Stress brook lead to some illnesses; some can be mild like a headache, others can be very serious like cancer. Like many college students, I am always in a continual state of stress from worrying about my academic career. The ii major sources of stress for me are: spawnting good grades and qualification ends meet to pay for school and rent.
I think for all college students, our biggest patronage is to get good grades in all of our classes. I ferret out it very tough to juggle four to five diverse classes each semester. Each class has certain demands you have to meet, and finding time to meet all these demands can be kinda stressful. Its hard to try not to have a holy terror attack when students are constantly bombarded with work, like having four exams in one day. My problem-focused approach to cope with this stress is to try my crush to balance my time efficiently to make room to film for each exam.
And my emotion-focused form of coping is to encourage myself that if I do well in the exams, then I would reward myself with a little shopping. Another stressful problem for me is my financial status. Its already difficulty for me to go to school full time, and on masking of that I also have to work full time.
